Butch & Kimberly Dias
Butch and Kimberly’s story is one of faith, love, and a shared passion for spreading the message of Jesus Christ. They met at the River Church in West Palm Beach, Florida, where their friendship quickly blossomed into a deep, God-centered relationship. From the moment they connected, they knew they were meant to serve God together. Their mutual love for Jesus and their calling to share His gospel have been the foundation of their lives and ministry.
Their journey as a couple has been one of active service to the Kingdom of God. They’ve both found their calling in the children’s ministry at River Church, under the leadership of Pastors Corey and Rose Erman, where they help nurture young hearts and guide the next generation in faith. But that’s not all—Butch and Kimberly also serve in the Mercy Ministry outreach department, where they visit nursing homes, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers, offering love, support, and prayer to those in need. Their hearts for service are as big as their love for Jesus, and they’re always ready to assist their pastors in any way needed to further God’s work.
The creation of His Star is a beautiful testament to their dedication and obedience to God’s call. It all started many years ago when Kimberly had a divine encounter. One night, the Holy Spirit woke her up and gave her the chorus to a song based on the poem she had written titled His Star. It was at that moment that God revealed to her that this poem wasn’t just meant to be a song but a children’s book. Excited by the vision, Kimberly shared the idea with Butch, and together they embarked on this creative journey. His Star became a true team effort, with writing, illustrations, and countless hours of prayer. The result? This book now touches hearts and introduces children to the beauty and truth of the Christmas story, inspired by Matthew 2:2.
The purpose of His Star is simple yet profound: to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. At the back of the book, you’ll find a children’s soul-winning script—an amazing tool that the children’s ministry at River Church uses to help children come to know Jesus. This script has been instrumental in saving lives and spreading the message of Jesus to children near and far. Through this book, Butch and Kimberly hope to remind children of the true meaning of Christmas—the birth of Jesus Christ—and inspire them to follow the light of His star. They believe the book will have a global impact, touching lives all over the world, one page at a time. And through it all, they give all glory to Jesus, their Lord and Savior.
Butch’s academic background is a unique blend of theology and marine engineering, making him well-rounded in both spiritual and practical fields. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Theology from River School of Ministry and a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering. Butch now serves faithfully in ministry at River West Palm Beach Church, helping guide others in their journey with Christ. Kimberly, with her Associate degree in Theology and Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, is a dedicated elementary teacher at River Christian Academy. Her love for teaching children goes hand-in-hand with her passion for sharing the love of Jesus. Together, they’ve founded Lighthouse Legacy Revival Ministries, Inc., a ministry that carries their mission forward and allows them to reach even more people with the life-changing message of Jesus.
